THE GILSON SCHOOL FOUNDATION was established December 3, 1996. It was incorporated March 17, 1997 as a not-for-profit organization in Illinois.
GSF is recognized by the Federal Government as a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization.
All financial information is available upon request.
The purpose of the foundation is to transform the building into a
historic site with a museum and community center.
The foundation board is restoring the building as finances permit.
Each year the foundation holds fundraisers for restoration projects.

The Gilson School Foundation meets quarterly during the year with the annual meeting held in January. Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings.
